Being an author of books targeted towards women who have divorced, I am asked all the time in interviews the big question, "Why are marriages today failing?" My answer is always the same, marriage is not broken, people are broken, and make choices away from God and from each other. This results in the tragedy of divorce.
"The Song" is a beautiful picture of two people whose idea of marriage suddenly begins to shatter. Together they find themselves on a journey of redemption as they are forced to navigate through disappointment, and challenged dreams in hopes of finding their way back home.
So glad to see a film that portrays a very realistic picture of the joys and the challenges of young love and marriage. Not only am I thrilled to support such a great film, I am also very proud of my son Joshua Toholsky, an actor and musician in Nashville, who is a part of "The Song" cast. Josh portrays one of the band members and plays cello throughout the film. Half way through the film he has a three-minute live performance with the main character, Ryan. Keep an eye out for him, and I will keep an eye out for your reviews.
From my heart to yours,
